Mission

Not being able to afford mental health services or feeling ashamed, alone and uneducated on what you’re going through, shouldn’t deter you from getting the help you need. We’re All A Little Mad is the bridge connecting these individuals. Creating We’re All A Little Mad is the culmination of my life experiences. I do not want to have another person go through what I have had to go through or to end their lives because they’ve run out of hope to survive. In those times where you find yourself going “mad", and have no one to talk too, it is important to know that you are never alone because, We’re All A Little Mad. We all have our own form of madness. Whether that be trauma, sadness, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, heartbreak or pain. In those times, I want to join together as a community to help bring education and awareness to those going through darkness and for those who cannot afford therapy or medication to not give up. By using my story and experiences, I want this to be a platform to make mental health awareness more accessible and knowledgeable. I want to use my knowledge of plant medicine (Ayahuasca) to help educate and inform the incredible benefits of this healing medicine. For people to be informed to alternative methods when seeking help with their mental health disorder, past traumas or seeking guidance and a purpose with their lives. I want my box subscriptions, Create Beauty Out of Chaos Box with the use of writing and art therapy to provide more tools to all those coping with their form of madness.

Vision

I want to see mental health services available to every person. Money should never get in the way of someone seeking help from suffering. Mental health should be talked about and accepted more. My vision when creating We’re All A Little Mad is to break the stigma behind mental health and bring awareness and education to all. Through my own personal story, trauma therapy with the healing medicine of Ayahuasca, my clothing brand and box subscriptions, I want to see people communicating and talking about what makes us all, “a little mad”. I want to see We’re All A Little Mad brand in department and boutique stores sparking up conversations with like minded individuals going through similar traumas, illnesses, eating disorders, ptsd, anxiety, survivor stories and everything in between. My vision behind Create Beauty Out of Chaos Box is going to be centered around writing and art therapy. For my personal journey, writing is what saved my life. In speaking with other people I have heard how much writing and art therapy has saved their lives also. I want to do public speaking in schools around the world with students, parents and teachers involved. Talking comes from within each household and with teachers and counselors. I want my monthly blog posts with different themes to open up mental health discussions. This will be a community of hope, knowledge, acceptance, understanding, love and support. I want to see the stigma behind hallucinogenic drugs such as Ayahuasca, to be researched more and taken to higher regards in our search for curing mental health disorders and trauma in general.
